Glaxo Holiday Party-12/18/08

One of the divisions of Glaxo held their annual holiday party again this year at Bay 7 of the American Tobacco Building. This group has been hiring me for years and every year the party gets a little stronger. They had a great turnout this year and after some cocktails and then an informal dinner, they moved the station tables and it was my time to rock it. I started out with some older stuff like “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” and “Respect”, but then played alot of line dances like the “Cha Cha Slide” and “Electric Slide” by request. I also got to mix in some of the newer top 40 stuff. The crowd was definitely into it, and I built a great dance floor by the end of the night. I ended with my party closer, “Shout” and sent them on their way! I hope to do this party again next year, it’s always a good time with great people.
