Terps Christmas Bash-12/19/08

What is a Terp anyway? This is the group that puts on and organizes the annual Deb Ball here in Raleigh, NC. Most of these guys I know from either school at UNC or just living in Raleigh for many years. They are in their 20’s and 30’s, and when I say they love to party, they LOVE to party. Their black tie Christmas party was held at Raleigh’s Carolina Country Club. My part of the night didn’t even start until past 11! I think I’m getting old. They had a Rolling Stones cover band for the first part of the night, then my set. I busted out with “Single Ladies” by Beyonce and the girls went nuts! I literally mixed everything in and out all night while getting drunken requests screamed in the other ear. It was nuts. The band came out for their second set, then I closed it out from 1am-2am. I think that only the hardest of the hardcore were left at that point, but they stuck around and we had a good time. It was great to see many old friends there, and I hope to be back again next year!
