Kelly/Ford Reception 12/6/08

Matt and Jen’s wedding reception took place at Brier Creek Country Club. As soon as I entered the room, I could tell they had gone “all out”. It was gorgeous and definitely had Lyn Graves’ touch all over it. He is the owner of Fresh Affairs, an amazing Raleigh florist and design center. There were giant silver branches with crystals hanging from them as centerpieces! The walls and dance floor were lit up red with their initials projected in white light in the center. Rick with Total Production Services took care of that part of the event. Photography and videography were done by A Moment Like This team Seth and Bianca. They are awesome, check out some shots below. Planning and coordinating was handled by Angie Wright with Chic Details. She always does a great job of making sure we stay on schedule and things are flowing. I, of course, was in charge of the tunes!
Their introduction was a mix of songs like “Sexyback” and “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough”. Their bridal party and crowd were pumped! I knew this was going to be a good one. Their first dance was “Making Memories of Us” by Keith Urban. A great one. After dinner, the guys serenaded Jen with “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” and not to be outdone, the ladies sang “Respect” to Matt. Hilarious. The cake cutting and parent’s dances went off without a hitch and the dance floor finally opened. The couple only had a few requests, so I did my thing and rocked requests from all the guests and then filled in the blanks. Great party!
