Bradley/Kurtz Reception
February 21st, 2008
Lora and Harry’s wedding was amazing. I have never seen the ballroom at the Hilton RTP look so cool. When I walked in, I thought I was at the wrong place! Jeff Simpson of Simpsound did a light blue ambient lighting with giant white snowflakes projected on the side walls. Even better, it actually snowed that night. When the dancing started, he cranked up the fog machine and the dance lights hanging from the ceiling. It looked like a nighclub in there!
Samantha Slapnick of Emma Grace Designs did a great job as the coordinator. One of the area’s great photography teams, Chris and Kathleen Perez from Azul Photography shot the day. Lora looked gorgeous, as did the bridesmaids.
I knew this was going to be a great wedding since their intro song was “Party Like a Rock Star”! Their first dance then began with a slow song and about midway through they wanted it cut and for “Yeah” by Usher to crank. I pulled it off and so did they with a perfectly choreographed routine. It was hilarious. The guests loved it and it set the mood for the whole night. Great party!
