Grebner/Mabe Reception

Jamie and Andrew's ceremony and reception was at The Velvet Cloak on Hillsborough St. in Raleigh. I had not played there in a couple of years, but I must say that have done some really nice renovations.
I handled the traditional ceremony with classical music and a mic on the officiant which picked up both the bride and groom. I also had one a stand for the 2 readers. The ceremony was lovely and they even got a song from the groom’s mother’s trio.
The reception was catered by Caffe Luna and all of the food looked delicious. Ryon Mason (I’m doing her wedding in November!) from Luna took care of a lot of small details and catering, and I of course was the DJ and MC. John Williford of Carolina Productions was there capturing the full day on video and the photographer was Amber Gerberich from Amber Ocean Photographic. After some very funny toasts and the cake cutting, Jamie and her friends hit the dance floor hard. Not only did she look beautiful, but her energy level was through the roof. That girl danced all night! For all of your brides to be out there, take note...when the bride and groom dance, the other guests want to dance, and that leads to a packed floor…my favorite. Everyone had a blast, including me.
