Sporn/White Wedding

Once again, another lovely wedding at Prestonwood in Cary, NC. As soon as I walked in, I could tell that Lyn Graves from Fresh Affairs had been in there! The tables, linens, and flowers were amazing. Even the menus on each plate were customized with the guests names on them! I ran into Teresa from Everything But The Bride and realized that she had actually created all of the printed goods there! Amazing stuff!
As for the bride and groom, they were great. Kristen and Lee came into the room to Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” and then went right into their first dance. After dinner, we had a short but sweet toast by the best man, cut the cake, and did the parent dances. Soon after, it was party time! Their music list consisted of songs from every era and so I mixed it up and kept the crowd moving for almost 2 1/2 hours. It was a great party and I think that everyone had a great time. James and Meridith from Walters & Walters were there capturing the day and I got to work with one of my favorite wedding planners, Tracy Adams from Adams & Events. She is hilarious and was even out on the dance floor showing folks how to do the “Cupid Shuffle”...love her!
The wedding ended around 9:15pm and I raced home to watch my Tar Heels beat Louisville for their trip to the Final Four! Great night all around!
