Melinda and Ben’s reception at the famous Carolina Inn was amazing! The couple chose to come into the room to a Coldplay instrumental and then went right into their first dance, “True Companion” by Marc Cohn. This is one of my all time favorite songs for a first dance. If you don’t know it, spend the 99 cents and buy it today. On with the show…The dinner looked fantastic and the toasts and cake cutting (great one by Sweet Memories) went off without a hitch. As soon as the parent dances were over, the party BEGAN! These folks came to party and hit the dance floor with a passion. I mixed up all types of music from their playlist and even threw in some of my favorites. The Old Well Room was rocking! As for the pictures, I am hoping that I can get some from Abigail Seymour and will post them soon. Great reception!
August 30th, 2008 at 10:54 PM Hi Joe! Thanks for a great night. We had so much fun, and Ben has never danced that much in his life! So many people have told us that it was one of the best receptions they have ever attended. Everytime a song ended, we thought that there was no way we could keep dancing, but the next song was always better than the last, and we couldn't leave the dancefloor! Everything was timed perfectly, and we can not thank you enough for all that you did to make our night so special. You are amazing!! -Ben and Melinda
