Parker/Buysse Reception 9/27/08

If you read about Heather Ruggiero’s wedding, you’re probably realizing that I did 2 weddings on the same day. The best part-they were both in the same hotel in the same ballroom! I left my gear set up from the early wedding in the Old Well Room at The Carolina Inn and took a two hour break, watched some football, and ate a great burger in the hotel bar (no drinks though!). I met Courtney and Nick just a couple of weeks ago at Molly Reynolds wedding reception where Courtney was a bridesmaid. They area a great couple and looked great busting into the room to Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing”. My buddy Chris Perez from Azul Photography really nailed it with the pictures (see below)! After their intro, they went right into their first dance, an amazing classic and probably one of the best choices I’ve heard this year “Nothing Can Change This Love” by Sam Cooke. Perfect! Food stations were opened and then we knocked out the parent dances and cake cutting…boom, boom, boom so we could get to the good part…dancing!
She wanted the dance floor opened with “The Electric Slide” and so that’s what we did and it was a great party starter. I moved through her playlist that included all genres and decades of music and the dance floor stayed rocking all night. I love these pictures of a partying bride…nothing better! All in all, a fantastic reception!
