I actually had Friday and Saturday nights off. I love January and February in that I get a break, but I am not making any money…ugghhhh! Anyway, I did a really neat wedding show yesterday at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham. This show isn’t your typical booth style show where each vendor has their 10’x10’ spot. It is actually more like a press conference where brides can ask various vendors questions about wedding related things. There are florists, caterers, wedding planners, and basically everything you would need to plan a wedding. After those sessions, guests are treated to a great lunch in the President’s Ballroom where different table tops, gowns, and tuxes are displayed and talked about by wedding pros. Finally, there is a dessert party at the end where brides mingle with vendors. It really is a great concept, and we hope to see you at the next one.
