Estes/Geschwind Reception 1/24/09

This was Beth’s second wedding, but the first for Bill, and they made it a great day. I arrived after the ceremony to the Sheraton Chapel Hill, and set up during cocktails. Soon afterwards, the event was on time to start. Beth’s daughter welcomed everyone and introduced her mom and Bill’s first dance “Bless the Broken Road”. The best man, Glenn, gave a toast and Uncle Budge gave the blessing. A great buffet followed, and then it was off to the dancing! I will have to admit, I started dance music at 7pm, with an 11pm stop time on my contract. I didn’t think it would make it, but these folks knew how to party! I played all types of music from country line dances to hip hop, and they ate it up! It was a great reception, and a good way to start the new year. Congrats to Beth and Bill!
