Lindsay and Eric’s reception was at the lovely TPC at Wakefield. I have been playing there alot lately, haven’t I? That works for me because Jaclyn Parks and her team there do a great job! I also had some help from Molly with Bella Bean as well, so we had this reception pretty much on schedule. The bridal party came in after the cocktail hour to “Sexyback” and then the bride and groom danced in to “Another One Bites the Dust”. Their first dance was “Oh Love” by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. This was my first time playing this song, it’s really good! Lindsay then danced with her dad to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” and Eric danced with his mom to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. After the dances, the food stations opened as did the doors to the dining room. Guests were treated to some awesome prime rib and pasta! We did the toasts from the dining room at the end of dinner and then finally moved back to the ballroom for the cake cutting and my favorite part of the night-open dancing! Lindsay put together an eclectic mix of songs from country to top 40 and I tried to work them all in. The guests had a good time and the bouquet and garter toss were the only times we stopped dancing until the very end.
