Roberson/Bohn Reception-2/7/09

Josh and Ashley’s reception was at a place that I’ve never been to before, The Marlin Club. This is an awesome private club in Cary at The Arboretum. The place is small, but new and very cool inside. Plus, Lyn from Fresh Affairs did another one of his amazing jobs. The evening started off with heavy hors d’oeuvres and then soon afterwards the bride and groom arrived and did their first dance to John Legend’s “Stay with You” (great choice!). They did a combo dance with their parents to “What a Wonderful World” and then the father of the bride gave a welcome. I played some more cocktail music, they cut the cake, and then it was time to party. I played a mix of just about everything and everyone seemed to have a great time. I know that I did!
