Greenfield Prom-April 24th, 2009
April 28th, 2009
This past Friday night was the kickoff of my “prom season” at the Wilson Country Club. Greenfield is a small private school in my hometown of Wilson, NC. I have been doing their prom for years and it is one of the few that I still do. Let me tell ya, proms are tough. These kids will eat you alive if you don’t have every single brand new hip hop song. And on top of that, 99% of the songs are garbage. I think I’m just getting old, but the hip hop/urban stuff these days is SO bad that I can hardly listen to it. In fact, I won’t listen to it outside of playing these events. Anyway, I may be old, but I still rocked it! Thanks to the kids and teachers at Greenfield. Their mardi gras theme looked amazing and once the kids showed up, they partied. I will see you guys again next year.
