Rosensweet/O'Brien Reception-4/4/09

Mitch and Meghan’s wedding was one of the coolest of the year thus far. They totally went all out with this one! It was at Pine Lake Pavilion in Mebane, NC. If you haven’t been out there, you should go and check it out. It is gorgeous, and Jennifer does a great job out there. In fact, they booked every service that we have! Ceremony, DJ, Videography, and the photo booth! Not to mention, they had lighting by Josh and Jeff Simpson of Simpsound and 2 massive cakes from Donna with Sweet Memories, and a candy buffet! Wow! Let’s start with the ceremony. They picked a great processional “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz and “When You Say Nothing at All” by Ronan Keating. As the second song played, Meghan made her way around the lake their in a horse and carriage! It was awesome! The ceremony was lovely and as they walked down the aisle, I played a song by one of their favorite bands, “Yeah Yeah Yeah” by My Radio. On to the reception! After their introduction, we went right into the first dance “Anyone But You” by the Moldy Peaches! It is from the Juno Soundtrack and actually went over so well. The crowd loved it! Their parent dances were to “Turn Around” by Harry Belafonte and “Song for My Son” by Mikki Vierick. After dinner, toasts, and cake, we got into the dancing! They had a big list of songs, but I only had a limited amount of time to get into it since you have to turn it down at 11 outside. Regardless, the dance floor was rocking and everyone had a blast! April 22nd, 2009 at 06:54 PM Joe, I have to agree. This was the best wedding I've ever been the groom in. You guys did awesome. Hey, will we ever get that My Radio CD back? We know you like it and all... :-) In all honesty, You really added something special to our night. Your next beer is on us.
