My 4th of July

No wedding post this week, but I did have a great week off down in Atlantic Beach, NC. The best part was that my whole family was there. Mom, Dad, sister A.D., wife, and both sons. It was amazing. My buddy Kevin also brought his 2 kids down. We had fun in the sun for days, but it was definitely not a vacation…more like work taking care of all of those kids and keeping everyone entertained. I did one show while I was there on July 4th at a little beach bar called Golden Margaritas. I do it every year and there is always a great crowd there wanting to party. The fireworks were awesome and my oldest son, Colin, was totally into it. It reminded me of a song by a guy named Franky Perez called “My 4th of July”: “It’s the look in my first born’s eyes, standing amazed on the 4th of July, falling in love for the very first time.
