Matt and Brandi’s reception took place at Duke Gardens. The catering and decor were provided by The Catering Company out of Chapel Hill. The flowers were done by Floral Dimensions. I will have to say, this was a very pretty wedding! After the bridal party arrived, I lined them up in the hallway and ushered everyone inside for the intros and first dance. I introduced them to “Intergalactic” by Beastie Boys and their first dance was choreographed to “Better Together” by Jack Johnson. It was a great way to start the night. After their first dance, one of the parents had a special video presentation that was great. The video ended and the father of the groom gave a great welcome, and a blessing followed. The seated dinner was presented shortly afterwards. I got the pleasure of eating and I’m telling you, this was some of the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding-pork tenderloin, amazing! Once dinner was over, the best man and matron of honor presented toasts and the cake was cut. I kicked the party into gear right after the cake cutting and the dance floor was packed all night long! The only break we took was to do the bouquet (“Single Ladies” by Beyonce) and garter (“Legs” by ZZ Top). I closed out the night with some fast stuff like “Footloose”, “Twist & Shout”, and “Love Shack” before playing their chosen last dance, “Save the Last Dance for Me” by Michael Buble. I saw a few shots on Shane Snider’s, and they are great! Check out just a few of the best below! Congrats to Brandi and Matt…killer reception!
