Chelsea and Marc had an amazing reception at the brand new Chapel Hill Country Club. You could literally still smell the new paint in there! About 2.5 years ago it burned down and they have been operating out of permanent tent structure since. Anyway, Jeff Earley stuck around over there and it was great to see him and the new place. In any case, Marc and Chelsea didn’t want alot of fanfare or traditional things when they came in. I announced just the bride and groom and then they welcomed everyone. The food was served and after everyone got their fill, we opened the dance floor. From the first song until the very end (which extended overtime) the dance floor was rocking! It was a really great reception and they got alot of dancing in since there weren’t any “special” dances. Chelsea looked amazing and actually knows how to make a line dance look good! Marc’s family is from the Dominican Republic (I think), and Marc’s dad brought me a great merengue CD that went over really well. This was a great crowd and it was evident that they came to party! I don’t want to forget to mention that Rick and his son from Total Production Services really did an awesome amber lighting job in the room as well.
