DJ Steve Stowe-Jecmen/Gogel Reception-September 12th, 2009
September 16th, 2009
Kim and Mark’s reception began at TPC at Wakefield Plantation with an introduction to “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas and it set the mood for a truly great night. Jaclyn Parks and her staff had the Williamsburg Ballroom looking stunning in pink and white. Immediately following the introductions, their first dance began to Nat King Cole’s “When I Fall In Love”. What followed that first dance, I don’t think anyone was prepared for. The raw emotion during the Bride and her Father’s dance to “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Al Martino was so electric that it spilled into the Groom and his Mother’s dance to “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban. Following dinner, the toasts from the Best Man and Maid of Honor paved the way for the cake cutting to “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies and then we opened dance floor with “September” from Earth, Wind, and Fire. The evening capped off by a final dance of “At Last” by Etta James and then a sparkler exit! Congrats to Kim and Mark and thanks for allowing me to take part in a wonderful reception. Check out the killer pictures from Brian Mullens of Brian Mullens Photography.
