Wammack/Wang Reception-September 26th, 2009
September 28th, 2009
Kristen and Wei are a great couple currently living in New York, but I’m glad they chose to get married down here at the Doubletree in RTP! Cara Zuehlke with A Southern Soiree was once again on hand to direct the ceremony and plan the reception! Of course, this makes my job ALOT easier when she’s on board! This was a full service wedding for me, meaning I was doing the audio for the ceremony and doing the reception. The ceremony, unfortunately, had to be moved inside due to rain, but we pulled it off. I think the highlight for me was the singer doing “I Want To Hold Your Hand” but in a slow, acoustic version. She was amazing! As the guests entered the tent behind the Doubletree for the reception, they were greeted by the brand new Onyx photobooth by Palmetto City Photobooth. That thing was the hit of the night! As I lined up the bridal party in the hall, I noticed how amazing Kristen’s dress was (great style!) and that all of the bridesmaids were rocking their own hot heels with their black dresses. Nice! After the intro, Kristen and Wei did their first dance to The Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand by You”. Kristen then danced with her dad and Wei with his mom. Food stations opened right afterwards. Following dinner, we had some great toasts and the lovely cake was cut. Next it was party time! I was all over the map with the music with a strong focus on the 80’s and top 40. It was a fun crowd and by the end of the night, “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas and “One More Time” by Daft Punk had everyone out there! Wow, check out the amazing pictures from James and Meridith Walters of Walters & Walters Photography fame below…killer!
